One of the metrics of success that we use at Hope Tank is when our nonprofits find out about resources through us that come from another one of our nonprofit partners!! Here is an AWESOME example of one of these mashups of two of our nonprofit partners that came through Hope Tank that we heard about today: “At Shiloh House, we empower youth and families who have been impacted by family crisis, trauma, abuse, or neglect through residential, educational, therapeutic, and community programs.
At our Family Engagement Center (FEC) we provide young parents with holistic wraparound services to help stabilize their families. The goal of the FEC is to provide parents with the tools they need to keep their family together and functioning healthily. This past September a newborn car seat was stolen from the Family Engagement Center and needed to be replaced quickly. Shiloh House
started looking for a way to get a car seat donated and recalled a post on Hope Tank’s Instagram about a non-profit recycling baby gear. Shortly after reaching out, we were on the phone with WeeCycle
‘s Program Director Morgan Seibel and before we knew it we had two new car seats for our program! Since then, Shiloh House has received lots of helpful donations from. The specific needs of families and young parents can be unpredictable, but having a partnership with WeeCycle makes meeting those needs a lot easier! We are so appreciative of WeeCycle and glad we got connected with them through Hope Tank—both wonderful partners and are reliable organizations that truly helps the families we serve in Colorado!”
